Tapping or EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique, is stimulating certain Meridian Points on the body with focused attention and intent about what may be going on with you in the moment or resurfacing fears or traumas to help heal or reframe.

This is a wonderful practice or tool you can have in your toolbox of coping skills to support you in any situation.

Tapping on the nine points and breath can be done anywhere at any time, and you have the tools, because that is you.

It is vital to address the trigger, or fear, be honest of your feeling about that and breath into a more acceptable outcome.

The nine points are:

  1. Karate chop point, side of the hand below pinky finger
  2. Eyebrow (just above)
  3. Side of the eyes, or temples
  4. Just under the eyes
  5. Between nose and lips, mustache area
  6. Just under the lips, above the chin
  7. Collar Bones
  8. Just under your arm, slightly below the arm-pit
  9. And top of the head, the crown chakra

Breathe and repeat as many times as necessary.

Best to rate your stress from 1-10 before you begin, do a round and rate yourself again, repeat as many times as it takes to get yourself to a manageable level to move forward.
