Tyrone Lindsey

Tyrone Lindsey

Tyrone is a certified Spinning™ instructor, certified TRX™ group instructor, ACE™ certified personal trainer, and certified Stretch Therapist. Specializing in functional training, Tyrone uses multiple modalities to customize workout plans to fit his client’s needs. This includes strength, cardio, core, and high intensity training utilizing free weights, kettlebells, resistance bands, etc. Moving better, feeling better, and being better are the driving motivators.

Battling health concerns including borderline diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol, I knew I had to change my diet and exercise. I began my fitness journey on a dare to take a spin class. After barely surviving, I stepped up to the challenge and came back again and until I was up to seven days a week, sometimes taking multiple classes a day. That translated into motivating others in class, which eventually led to instructing. TRX, multi-modality, and personal training was a natural complement to spinning for overall fitness.

I am guided by two synergistic ideals:

“Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability” – John Wooden.

“Better than the Best” – Working hard towards your goals and being better than “your” best will curtail complacency while taking your health and fitness journey to new heights. Let’s get to work.

Teaching/Coaching Philosophy

“I know what it feels like to lose yourself because of stress, pressure, and unrealistic expectations. My own journey through burnout, chronic stress, and health challenges taught me the importance of holistic wellness. I teach and coach because I want others to experience the freedom, strength, and healing that come from choosing for yourself.”

Values

“My values are passion, focus, and growth. I value authenticity, empowerment, and the integration of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. I honor the whole person and believe wellness is a lifelong, evolving practice—much like the natural unfolding of a butterfly’s life cycle.”

Unique Qualifications

“I use a combination of professional expertise, personal resilience, and holistic modalities. My background includes leadership development, project management, Fitness Training (Group Fitness Instructor, 1:1 Personal Trainer/Wellness Coach), and lived experience navigating high-stress environments. I combine movement, mindfulness, energy work, personality insights, and reflective coaching to support each participant’s transformation.”
