At RBKF, we really put some thought into what makes travelling so much fun. Here’s what we came up with: Food, Atmosphere, Culture, Language, Learning and Shared Experience.
Design is a great storyteller of the one person or group of people that constructed it. There’s conversations to be had about why a certain piece of furniture was chosen, why a husband added built-in shelving to the walls, why the kitchen was renovated the way it was, and more.
Words are finding their ways into our interior design as constant reminders to be grateful, love, live passionately and so on. We’ve seen it on decorative couch pillows, wallpaper, wall decorations, candles, in the kitchen- you name it.
Have you ever taken a moment to do a body scan? If not, we highly recommend it for anyone, in celebration of why our differences are beautiful and a way to relieve or manage some stress.
Travel has become less of a luxury and more of a necessity to expand our ideals and experiences. Travel is significantly more affordable in the last decades with some airlines offering al la carte services for whatever convenience we’re looking for.
In trying times, why do we sometimes make the decision to freeze, flee or fight? Perhaps it is because our backs are against the wall, there are too many opponents or we have no clue what to do. Whatever it is, it is believed to be based in fear and how we cope with that fear.
What does living mean to you? Are you living simply to survive? Are you living for fulfillment beyond basic needs? Are you building a legacy? Living doesn’t live on some linear idea as we’re all complex and varying in our ways.
Grilling not only makes your food more flavorful, leaner, aromatic, and overall enjoyable- but it’s a great way to connect with the outdoors, get creative, gather your loved ones and teach them a lesson on how to throw down in the culinary realm.
